The idea for the magazine began in 2004-2005. I have struggled with it at first because I started when I still had children at home and the challenges that came with teenagers. Now the children are grown and I am going to try this again.

I thought that it would be nice to have one publication that listed all of the local events with an attached website that would be updated weekly. I did this because there was never any ONE PLACE that you could go to find out what was going on in the area, it is always split up all over the place. I decided not to put the print version of the magazine in the mail so that I could keep the cost down and keep the publication Free.

The magazine generally covers a 3 county area but if it isnt too far off, like in Wooster, I will see if I can find out about a few events there. I do believe that is as far out as I want to go. I am focuings on developing the content of the magazine to make it more interesting to everyone. If you have any ideas on what you would like to see please let me know.

I am making this magazine to share the knowledge of what is going on (events wise) with everyone who lives or visits the area. I have made some mistakes along the way but I do believe I am learning to build a better magazine. Mansfield and the surrounding area are my hometown and I truly believe that this is a greatplace to live. We are close to everything, but far enough away to make this area a major destination for travelers. We have an unbelievable amount of attractions, events and local talent that you just cannot find anywhere else.
